SMS Program

Customers may choose to receive text updates about a pickup order they initiated by phone.

Program purpose

Lemon Tree Sushi & Ramen, operated by J&A CENTURY LLC, sends transactional SMS messages only to customers who place a pickup order and verbally agree to receive text updates.

Who receives messages?

Only customers who call the restaurant, place an order, provide a mobile number, and affirmatively say yes when asked whether they would like a confirmation text.

Complete verbal opt-in workflow

  1. The customer calls Lemon Tree Sushi & Ramen to place a pickup order.
  2. The ordering assistant collects the customer's name, order items, requested pickup time, and mobile phone number.
  3. The assistant asks: “Would you like me to send a confirmation text message with your order number, pickup time, and total amount due to this phone number?”
  4. Only after the customer answers yes is a text message sent.
  5. If the customer declines, no SMS is sent.

  • Order-ready notification
  • Cancellation or service-related order update
