Customers may receive transactional texts only after verbally agreeing during a customer-initiated phone order.
How consent works
- The customer calls to place a pickup order.
- The assistant collects the customer's name, order, pickup time, and mobile number.
- The assistant asks whether the customer wants a confirmation text with the order number, pickup time, and total due.
- A text is sent only after a clear yes.
- If the customer declines or does not clearly agree, no customer SMS is sent.
